VISIA

Personalize your skin treatment with a complementary VISIA scan when you book a consultation at Pine & River Aesthetics.

What Is VISIA?

VISIA® is a digital imaging system that evaluates skin on the surface and sub-surface levels. Think of it like a high-tech photo booth that provides you with a real-time and easy-to-understand, objective analysis of your skin and its issues in eight categories:

  • Spots
  • Wrinkles
  • Texture
  • Pore size
  • UV spots
  • Brown spots
  • Red areas
  • Porphyrins (Bacteria in your pores)

This system was originally developed as a research tool and now helps us develop the perfect treatment plan for your skin and its areas of need. The machine is computer-controlled and uses multispectral imaging to scan the skin and capture key information.

The system has built-in positioning aids and standardized lighting and offers a magnification tool to take a closer look at specific areas.

What Can I Expect During VISIA?

After washing off all makeup, products, and surface oils from your face, you will be placed in front of the machine. The module will rotate around your face, capturing images from every angle.

It’s completely painless, noninvasive, and has no negative side effects. The photo imaging takes about ten minutes, and then we’ll be able to analyze your results.

You will leave with a true understanding of your skin and your options. A VISIA scan is offered to all new patients as part of every consultation service at Pine & River Aesthetics.
