We offer multiple treatment options that address wrinkles from a variety of approaches. During your consultation, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include one or more of the following neurotoxin options:
BOTOX® and Dysport® are purified proteins which, after injected, temporarily block nerve signals that direct facial muscles to contract during facial expressions. When these muscles are prevented from fully contracting, the lines, folds, and wrinkles in the skin’s surface are prevented from forming. We make tiny injections in the area that needs to be treated.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified protein that has the capability of preventing unwanted muscle action. In it’s pure form it is a toxin, but for cosmetic use it is a safe, highly-diluted injectable solution that relaxes muscles.
The way BOTOX® Cosmetic works is similar to the idea of putting a cut-off switch between an electrical cord and a lamp. Electrical energy must reach the lamp before the light comes on. Muscles work the same way by receiving signals from the nerves. If you’re angry, your nerves signal your frown muscles to contract.
This is a long-lasting prescription injection that works to smooth out the wrinkles and lines in your face. Primarily, it is used to target the frown lines between your eyebrows. This is a common concern for adults of all ages as you can frown without realizing it. Before you know it, there are deep lines between your eyes that make you look much older than you are.
What does BOTOX® or Dysport® treat?
Frown lines, Forehead lines, Crow’s feet, Lip lines, Bunny lines, Pebble chin
Procedure Time: 15-30 minutes.
Recovery Time & Side Effects
Redness or light swelling for about 15 minutes
Results
After BOTOX® or Dysport®, you will notice results within 3-4 days, and results will maximize at 2 weeks. Results can last up to 3-4 months.
Dermal fillers are injectable gels that can rejuvenate the lips, cheekbones, jowls, nasolabial folds, and face by proving volume that has been lost with aging and sun damage. Filler treatments are minimally invasive treatments that can last from six months to two years.
Restylane is made of Hyaluronic acid, a substance normally found in the skin that helps keep it plump. The hyaluronic acid molecule is hydrophilic, or “water-loving,” a feature that allows it to bind to water to provide long-lasting results. Restylane restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct, smooth and plump, returning the face to a youthful fullness.
Dynamic wrinkles and folds appear in areas of the face that move repetitively. Your face is dynamic, making millions of movements and micro-movements every day. Movements like squinting, frowning, laughing, and talking create dynamic wrinkles and folds. These wrinkles and folds can be difficult to treat because dermal fillers may cause the area to appear stiff or unnatural when the face moves. RHA® Collection is designed to be resilient enough to adapt to your facial movement, which may provide a more natural look at rest and in motion.
What does Restylane or the RHA® Collection treat?
Hollow tear troughs, Hollow cheeks, Nasolabial folds, Marionette lines, Thin or asymmetrical lips, Hollow temples, Glabellar folds, Certain types of depressed scars
Procedure Time: 30-45 minutes
How do Dermal Fillers Work?
Dermal fillers like Restylane® use a pure natural substance called hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a chemical found in every cell in your body. Since Dermal fillers are injected into the deep layers of your facial tissue, they can smooth the appearance of moderate wrinkles and replace lost tissue volume. Dermal fillers replicate the body’s own hyaluronic production to provide fullness in the areas they are injected.
What can I expect from dermal filler results?
Most clients who receive dermal fillers see visible wrinkle reduction for six months to two years following their initial treatment.
